VoiceOver Compatibility and Blatant Disregard For Keyboard Accessibility
I just purchased Clear Day hours ago and can not stress how much of a disappointment and waste of money it is to me. I am a VoiceOver user because I am completely blind. The interface of Clear Day is _completely_ inaccessible. VoiceOver _only_ says, from left to right: image, image, button [unlabelled], image. There are two sidebar options but I can not even find the sidebar! The preferences are more accessible than the app’s main screen but there are still so-called images not to mention the dimmed button after the table and _unlabelled_ text cells within the table [pertinent to the General tab]. Moreover, the menu that appears when the status extras bar item is activated disappears after an estimated five seconds. VoiceOver fails to speak the entirety of an item after an estimated five seconds but this is _not_ a fault of VoiceOver.
In essence, you as Vimov LLC, the company who develops Clear Day for Mac OS and iOS have _never_ and currently do _not_ consider us who are unable to use a mouse/trackpad or see a monitor. This app is a beat-down plus a slap in the face for blind users. If you make every aspect of the app fully accessible my outlook may very well change. Till then, the entire public sector deserves to see this because it must be illustrated that Vimov LLC has absolutely _no_ regard for the blind sector of their user-base. I so wish I could reclaim my US$2,17 [including taxes] spent on this piece of useless rubbish.
