Be careful; does not show severe weather!

I rated this app 2 stars because for checking daily weather, it seems to do okay. However, we were recently in a TORNADO WARNING, and the app simply told me partly cloudy. No severe weather warning on the main screen and the severe tab was blank.

It’s very pretty, and makes a neat screen saver if you run it in full screen, but this glaring flaw prevented me from rating it 4 or 5 stars.

I would not rely on this application to notify me of severe weather. If I want to look at pretty images of weather, it’s golden though.

In short; according to this application I was in no danger when in reality a tornado touched down just west of me and the storm caused enough damage to leave a large chunk of the local population (70,000+) without power for up to 2 days.
