Superb application on Mac Os. The quick menu can appear simple but gives a lot information on the forecast. Once you open the fullscreen app, a lot more information can be found.

The best weather application for the Mac today! Amazing graphics interface! I love it! I also have this app installed on my iPhone 4S and my iPad Mini, and it syncs through the cloud between all of my devices!!!!!

This is a wonderfull app, but it should to be automatically launched as a screensaver to be perfect!

If judged on looks alone this one is great. On substance I think it falls short. Radar could be much better. One needs to be able to zoom in on the map. Hopefully future improvements will remedy some of the shortcomings. C

Im a bit of a weather geek, so I thought it would be cool to install the top-rated weather app on my new MacBook Air. This app is certainly flashy with weather wizzing by all the time, but there is very little hard weather information to be found in the displays. I will stick to the tried and true weather apps. I have uninstalled this app - a waste of money for me since I found it more distracting and annoying than useful.

Im a fan of Weather HD for iPad and the Mac version is a great expansion on the app. The maps and moon info are nicely done, though unfortunately severe weather warnings dont work in Canada. A few refinements would help a lot: * if severe weather notifications arent available, that tab should be hidden * gestures should be supported for moving between different locations. Keyboard shortcuts would also be welcome, as the app relies too much on a point and click interaction Otherwise this is a really pleasant way to check the weather. Nice work.

This is the most beautiful weather app out there witout question! As others have said however, it would be nice to hide the alert button if they are not available in the current city.

I have a brand new iMac and this app used to run perfectly. I updated the app and now for the last few weeks there is no weather video, just a black screen. I had to stop using it as I ran out of ideas on how to fix this glitch as now its useless.

I have to click on the cloud icon to see the weather, needs to have the actual weather so i can browse it in the task bar and dont need to click on it.

The app was amazing when I first bought it, but every time I open it I have to force quit it because it glitches out. The app would be great if they fixed this bug. So thats the reason for the low rating.

Just purchased and am very pleased with the HD panels. Had Wx before but the designer decided to put access only to the US so I lost my access since been in Canada. Hope they will add audio with the alerts.

I love this app. Particularly the simple and effective QuickMenu feature. It gives you a quick overview of the current weather on all your favourite cities and allows you to open the full version of the app if you want detailed info or forecasts. In addition, support from Vimov is great. When I noticed an issue with QuickMenu and sent them an email, they actually provided me with a fixed version before it was approved and released in the App Store about 1hr after I sent them the email. So, instead of leaving bad reviews, people should really get in touch with them, they are really helpful. Now, stop reading and buy the app.

I love the app, beautiful, useful. Its lightweight when you do not have the UI open and just use the quick menu bar information. Can not think of anything thats missing besdies being a little big because of the useless little videos showing what it is like outside. I would much rather use that for a map or radar by default.

5 stars easily if I could make this my screensaver, otherwise the app seems solid.

It has stunning graphics but the accuracy of the weather prediction is poor (at least for Vancouver, BC). In addition, the program seems to have a limited number of icons for weather conditions - indicating (1) "sunny" only for cloudless sky, (2) cloudy and (3) rainy (ie. no icons for partly cloudy or partly sunny). The program should add icons for "partly sunny", "light showers and "heavy rain". Given the strict conditions apparently required for sunny, Vancouver has either been cloudy or rainy for the last month. If Weather HD had one fewer weather icon, it would not deliver any informative value for our area. Admittedly, the weather over the last month has not been great but it has certainly been more diverse that the forcasts given by Weather HD.

This app looks great, but is useless. The weather readings are waayyyy off for my region (Toronto, Canada). Save your money.

I had been using it for over a year without any issues, that is until I updating the program earlier today. I have a Macbook Pro with Mountain Lion installed. After I updated WeatherHD today, when I swipe between desktops on my laptop a residual of the WeatherHD menubar menuitem briefly flickers on my screen. Very annoying. Until this issue is resolved Im taking this application off my menubar.

This new version is amazing, with lots of options. I have both the mac and ipad/iphone versions.

Why still no support for retina displays? Otherwise its okay. The best thing is being abe to quickly see the temperature by looking at the menu bar.
